Ambercore Announces EuroChem as New Client
Ottawa, Canada, November 19, 2007 – Ambercore Software Inc., a leading global provider of high performance spatial software and services for Energy and Mining industries, is pleased to announce an agreement with EuroChem to deliver an integrated spatial database with special attention to the area designated for the shaft sinking operations. EuroChem Mineral and Chemical Company is the largest agrochemical company in Russia and one of the top ten largest global fertilizer producers.
Eurochem has retained Ambercore for work on the development of the new Potash deposit at the Gremyachinskoye site in Volgograd Region. Successful implementation of the project will enable EuroChem to produce all major types of mineral fertilizers: nitrogen, phosphate and potash.
Ambercore’s deliverable will include spatial data integration encompassing topographical, geophysical, geological, geochemical, hydro geological, and geotechnical information. Ambercore’s powerful patented software allows for the visualization of datasets thousands of times bigger than any existing software can process, while pyramid indexing enables rapid data retrieval for display and processing.
