Ambercore Delivers Dune Advisor II for De Beers
Ottawa, Canada, May 26, 2006 – Ambercore Software Inc., a leading global provider of high performance spatial software and services for Energy and Mining industries, is announcing the delivery of the Dune Advisor II customized software package to De Beers Global Technical Support.
The software comprises a decision support system used for navigational mining methods which use horizontal directional drilling or micro-tunneling as a method of excavation as well as exploration.
Ambercore’s Dune Advisor II combines analytical capabilities for paleo-surface reconstruction, alluvial diamonds deposition simulation, and directional drilling interactive modeling with a powerful visualization engine and built-in data model for planning and making decisions.
