Ambercore Develops Specialized CBM Geology Models
Ottawa, Canada, June 4, 2007 – Ambercore Software Inc., a leading global provider of high performance spatial software and services for Energy and Mining industries, is announcing the development of a spatial data management system for application in coal bed methane models.
The spatial data management system includes capabilities for 3D spatial data integration and visualization as well as interpolation capabilities using probabilistic modeling. The software is able to import many different types of client spatial data sets displaying them in a 3D virtual environment.
Of particular note is the capability to interpolate geologic and petrophysical attributes in true 3D space and within complex geologic horizons and faults. This, combined with Ambercore’s existing probabilistic modeling capabilities, makes a powerful modeling tool.

Modeling capabilities include the integration of surface data with subsurface data in 3D as well as integration of various geologic and petrophysical subsurface data.
