Wanda Dorosz, Chairman
Wanda Dorosz is a founder, Managing Partner and CEO of Quorum, a private equity boutique that has managed over $800 million (Cdn) in growth capital and real estate since inception. Wanda is responsible for overall strategy and has reviewed over 20 thousand technology companies in her career.  She is a director of numerous private, public and not-for-profit organizations including the Quorum Group of Companies, York University Schulich Business School and Top 40 Under 40.  She was a national judge of the Canadian E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Program for a number of years. Some of her prior directorships include Investors Group, Canada’s largest mutual fund company with 80 billion dollars in assets, Residential Equities REIT, the University of Toronto Governing Council, Toronto Stock Exchange Advisory Committee and the Abitibi-Price Office Products Advisory Board. Wanda was appointed by the Prime Minister of Canada to the National Advisory Board on Science and Technology (NABST) and to Harbourfront Corporation.  Other prior directorships include Anderson Consulting (now Accenture)’s Canadian Advisory Board and Ontario Centre for Microelectronics. She is also currently a member of the Investment Committee of the Canadian Federal Government’s $600 million Sustainable Development Technology Fund.  Wanda received a Bachelor of Education with distinction from the University of Regina and an LLB first Quartile from the University of British Columbia.

Richard Dole, Board Member
Richard is a founder and Senior Partner of Quorum. He has over 20 years of professional and operating experience in corporate finance in the areas of technology and growth companies. For example, Richard authored the original "White Paper on Technology" that led to the formation of Newstar whose solution was selected by E-Route Inc., an electronic bill payment and presentment consortia that is now the largest in the world. Newstar was purchase by BCE Emergis, resulting in a substantial gain for Quorum in 1999. He was also a key member of the team that created a leading electronic commerce company in the real estate industry call The Realm, (previously known as RealPulse). He has selected a number of niche technology companies which turned out to be financial successes for Quroum, such as Rand A Technologies, PC DOCS, Positron Fibre Systems, Neurochem Inc. and The Realm. He has held legal counsel positions with Northern Telecom Inc., McLaws & Company (Calgary) and in private practice in Toronto and has law degrees from Cambridge and Dalhousie Universities.

Mickey Abougoush, Board Member
Mickey is President of Teknica Overseas Ltd., a company that provides consulting services and software products to petroleum exploration and production companies.  He brings a wealth of international business and technical knowledge relating to all aspects of energy associated exploration and production, heavy oil and tar sands, reserve estimation and enhanced oil recovery.  Mickey is a member of several Canadian and international technical and professional organizations, and sits on the Board of Directors of several energy companies.  Mr. Abougoush is a professional engineer with over 37 years of experience in the petroleum industry, largely in technical and executive positions.  He is a graduate of the University of Alberta with a degree in chemical engineering. 

Martin Sendyk, Board Member
As President and Chief Executive Officer, Martin Sendyk oversees Ambercore operations, bringing to the position over 15 years of experience in the high tech industry working with world-class companies and award-winning products. His background includes senior level involvement with Newbridge Networks (acquired by Alcatel), Nortel and Motorola. Martin has also held leadership and founding roles with smaller successful companies such as Ubiquity Software, Castleton Network Systems and most recently Centrepoint Technologies. Martin has a successful track record of delivering enterprise-scale software solutions to market, and results for investors.  Martin holds both technical and business degrees, from the University of Calgary and the University of Ottawa.  He is also a registered professional engineer.

Boris Vorobiov, Ph.D. Board Member
Dr. Vorobiov brings 26 years of GIS experience and an international reputation to Ambercore Software. During his career he has led numerous development efforts, and initiated two successful software development companies, where he held CTO and CEO positions. Dr. Vorobiov has a Masters Degree in Mathematics from Kharkiv State University and a PhD in Information Technologies from the Ukrainian Institute of Water Preservation & Ecology.

Paul Kite, Board Member
Paul Kite has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, holding senior positions in software development, product management and business development with established and start-up telecommunication companies. His experience includes senior roles with Newbridge Networks, Alcatel, Castleton Network Systems, AFORE Solutions and Marconi. Most recently Paul was Director of Business Development at Marconi Communications where he was responsible for creating product partnerships.
